We stock a range of portable units, which can be bought outright or hired on a weekly or monthly basis. Portables can provide an effective temporary solution to an immediate cooling requirement in either an office, shop or home environment, providing comfort cooling in a limited space.
Consideration must always be given to the removal of the hot air from the area concerned, which is typically by way of a corrugated hose (similar to a tumble dryer hose) which needs to vent to the exterior of the building to allow the heat to escape. Our standard portable units are built to commercial specifications and have a cooling capacity of between 3.5 and 4.1kW, which will usually be sufficient to cool an area of approx. 20m2.The size of a small domestic refrigerator, they can be moved on built in castors, and they come complete with exhaust hose etc. so that they are ready to plug in (standard 13 Amp 3 pin plug) and start working - Simple!
